Linkly Google Sheets Addon

Linkly provides an addon for Google Sheets, allowing you to pull data from Linkly into your spreadsheets.

The addon provides the following functions:

  • listLinks() - retrieve a list of links from a Linkly workspace

  • getDailyClicks(link_id, start, end) - retrieve a list of clicks per day for a workspace or link, optionally between two dates.

  • getTotalClicks(link_id, start, end) - retrieve the total number of clicks for a workspace or link, optionally between two dates.

Installing the Addon

You can add the plugin to Google Sheets from the Chrome Web Store.

listLinks()

Returns a list of links in a workspace, with the fields:

  • Link ID (used by getDailyClicks() and getTotalClicks())

  • Name

  • Destination URL

  • Linkly URL

getDailyClicks()

getDailyClicks() returns an array of dates and clicks for a particular link or workspace.

Examples

=getDailyClicks()

Returns an array of dates and clicks for the entire workspace, for all time.

=getDailyClicks(1052)

Returns an array of dates and clicks for the link with ID 1052.

=getDailyClicks(1052, “2019-01-01”, “2019-02-15”)

Returns an array of dates and clicks for the link with ID 1052 between 1st January 2019 and 15th February 2019.

getTotalClicks()

getTotalClicks() returns an array of dates and clicks for a particular link or workspace.

Examples

=getTotalClicks()

Returns the total number of clicks for the entire workspace, for all time.

=getTotalClicks(1052)

Returns an array of dates and clicks for the link with ID 1052.

=getTotalClicks(1052, “2019-01-01”, “2019-02-15”)

Returns an array of dates and clicks for the link with ID 1052 between 1st January 2019 and 15th February 2019.
