- No. Rules evaluate at the edge — the added latency is imperceptible and typically under 10ms. Linkly's redirect infrastructure handles billions of redirects; routing logic is a lightweight rule check, not a round-trip to a server.
- What routing rules can I set up?
- Country, region, device type, operating system, browser, time-of-day, day-of-week, and round-robin rotation between multiple URLs.
- Can I combine multiple routing rules in one link?
- Yes. Rules combine with simple if-then logic. For example, 'if mobile AND in the US then App Store, if mobile AND elsewhere then Play Store, else web app.'
- Which plan do I need to use smart links?
- Smart links are a Pro-plan feature, available on Pro, Business, and Enterprise. The free plan includes 100 short links and 500 monthly clicks but not the smart-link rule set — upgrade to Pro to add country, device, and time-based routing.
- What happens if no routing rule matches?
