QR Code for Google Reviews: Get More Reviews From One Scan

Want more Google reviews? Here's how to make a QR code for your Google review page in Linkly: copy the review link from your Business Profile, paste it in, and print the QR code on a table card or a receipt. Customers land straight on the star box, and you can see which spot actually gets scanned.

0:00Why asking doesn't work
Most people will happily leave you a review. They just won't go hunting for the page to do it on. A QR code on the counter fixes that. Here's the card on the counter. Asking somebody to find you afterwards is five steps, and most of them stop at three. Scanning a QR code is two: point the camera, write the review. That's the entire difference, and it's why the card works.
0:22Get your Google review link
Google gives you the link. Open your Business Profile, ask for reviews, and copy. It even hands you a QR code down there, which is fine, except that one is frozen and it tells you nothing.
0:33Make the QR code, and what they see
So paste the review link into Linkly instead. Short ending, a name you'll recognise, and save. Same destination, same star box, but now it's a link you own. The QR code comes with it, so download the PNG and send it to whoever prints your table cards. Nothing else to set up. The customer scans the QR code and lands on the star box. You can't choose the rating, by the way. It opens the box, and they write what they write.
0:59Which spot actually works
And here's the trick worth stealing. Make one QR code for the table card and one for the till receipt. Then look at the two of them side by side. Ours is the table card, by a mile. It's free to start, and the free plan covers a small shop easily. Everything you need is just below this video.
