Location QR Code Generator: One Scan Opens Google Maps
Want a QR code that opens your location in Google Maps? Here's how to make one in Linkly: copy the place link out of Maps, paste it in, and print the QR code. Nobody types an address, and if the venue changes you point the same QR code somewhere else.

- An address on a flyer means squinting at it and typing it in. A QR code means one scan, and they're already moving. Here's how to make one. So here's the flyer. Date, blurb, and the address down at the bottom in six point type. Somebody has to read that and type it into Maps correctly, which is where it usually falls over. Or the flyer carries a QR code, and they just scan it. Start in Google Maps.

- Find the place, hit Share, and copy the link. That's the one that opens the pin, with a directions button already sat there waiting. Paste it into Linkly. It's a link like any other, so give it a short ending you can say out loud, and a name so you can find it again in a month. Save, and the short link and its QR code come back together. Download the PNG for print, or the SVG if a designer is laying out the flyer. They scan the QR code, and Google Maps

- Venues move. Ours went to a bigger space three weeks out, and the flyers were already printed. So you open the link, paste the new address in, and save. Same short link, same printed QR code, and everyone who scans it from now on gets sent to the right place.
