- Disguising a link doesn't mean hiding where it goes: people still land exactly where you promised. It means changing what the link says. You wrap the ugly URL in a short link, then name it whatever you want. The mess disappears; the destination doesn't.

- Paste in the ugly one — and it's already a short link, on your own branded domain. Here's the trick: rename it. Now the link says exactly what it is. Keep it honest: say what the page is, just skip the tracking junk. Branded links get more clicks and beat spam filters, and a domain is free to attach. There's a full cloaking option too, but most big sites block it now — the branded link is the better disguise.
