What is a Mailto Link?
A mailto link is a special type of hyperlink that opens the user's default email client with pre-filled fields when clicked. Instead of navigating to a web page, clicking a mailto: link opens a new email draft — ready to send.

Mailto Link Format
The basic format is mailto:email@example.com. You can add parameters after a ? to pre-fill fields:
